Finding a restaurant that your kids like can be difficult. Fortunately, in Dallas, Texas, there are plenty of delicious options. Here are some places in the city that your children will love.

Cris and John

Cris and John Vietnamese Street Food serves dishes for kids and adults of all ages, and it offers many Mexican flavors. Their $30 weekly specials include five different dishes, which are ideal for families. You can start with vegan egg rolls, spring rolls, or chicken or vegetable dumplings. The crispy street fries are topped with jalapenos, pickled carrots, cucumber, sriracha, house mayonnaise, and a fried egg. You can add meat as well.

For dinner, try the birria tacos with spicy beef short ribs, mozzarella cheese, and a side of vegetarian or chicken Angry Pho broth. The kids' menu includes chicken nuggets and fries. You can also choose Pho with rice noodles, beef broth, and rare beef or grilled chicken. For dessert, try the cafe churros or Mexican flan topped with sweet boba or bubble tea. Both come with a side of Vietnamese coffee cream. Reservations are recommended, and catering and online to-go orders are available.

Location: 5555 Preston Oaks Road #5, Dallas.

Hours: This place is open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. as well as 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Fireside Pies

Fireside Pizza Dallas, Texas

Fireside Pies is a relaxed, family-friendly restaurant with artisan pizzas made in a wood-fired oven. You can start with Fireside Fondue with garlic herb flatbread, peppers stuffed with goat cheese and spiced pecans, or a delicious Caesar or Italian salad. The Spicy Sausage pizza uses house-made spicy sausage, red bell peppers, roasted white onions, and a gourmet cheese blend. You can also choose lamb sausage with jalapenos and smoked provolone or make your custom pie with the many toppings available.

You can get raspberry cheesecake or a cocoa brownie with caramel sauce, hazelnuts, and Henry's Homemade Ice Cream for dessert. The Market Cobbler also comes with ice cream, and it's made with oatmeal pecan streusel and fresh, seasonal fruit. A variety of wines, beers, and cocktails is also available. If you're visiting in person, you should make a reservation for groups of eight people or more, or you can order online and get the pizza delivered to your door.

Location: There are two locations in Dallas. The one in Henderson is at 2820 N. Henderson Ave., and the one in Lake Highlands is at 6750 Abrams Road #105.

Hours: The Henderson location is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the weekend. You can visit the Lake Highlands restaurant from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Bbbop Seoul Kitchen

Bbbop Seoul Kitchen offers a great combination of Korean and Texan flavors for kids and adults. You can start with curry fries, glazed pork belly with kimchi salad, or beef or fried tofu lettuce wraps. Several rice bowls are available. The Spicy Spicy Bop comes with corn, mushrooms, carrots, pickled cabbage, garlic, and red pepper oil. With the Coconut Curry Bop, you'll get peas, curry, garbanzo beans, cilantro, and jalapeno. The Orange Bop has orange sauce, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, and cilantro.

You can also build your Bop with three vegetables and beef, tofu, chicken, or spicy pork. Kids' sizes are available. You can also choose from several flavors of chicken wings, fried chicken, or Tako Takos with corn tortillas, a side of curry, pickled carrots, bean sprouts, and spicy mayonnaise. The Korean Glass Noodles are made with sweet potatoes and stir-fried with a savory sauce, carrots, spinach, mushrooms, and green onions.

Location: 828 W. Davis St., Dallas.

Hours: You can visit from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Nico's Cocina Mexican Grill & Bar

Nico's Cocina Mexican Grill & Bar offers delicious dishes. You can enjoy your food on their covered patio while watching your kids enjoy the playground. There's a play set for bigger kids and one for toddlers, and the ground underneath both of them is covered in mulch to protect children if they fall. Appetizers include classic queso dip and Nico's Nachos with black beans, cheddar cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, guacamole, and a chicken or beef fajita.

The Nico's Botana Sampler comes with nachos, chicken flautas, a cheese quesadilla, stuffed jalapenos, a beef and chicken fajita, a side of queso, and grilled shrimp. The chicken tortilla soup has crispy tortilla strips, avocado, Monterey Jack cheese, shredded chicken, and sour cream.

For lunch or dinner, try the Carne Asada, grilled flank steak topped with grilled onions and served with charro beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and Mexican potatoes. Vegetarians can enjoy spinach and mushroom enchiladas with corn tortillas, sauteed spinach and mushrooms, sour cream, cilantro rice, and black beans. The Bacon Shrimp Brochette has bacon-wrapped shrimp, chipotle sauce, mixed vegetables, and cilantro rice. The Pollo a la Mexicana has chicken breast, ranchero sauce, onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, Mexican rice, pico de gallo, and beans.

For dessert, you can choose sopapillas or churros covered in cinnamon and sugar, tres leches Mexican sponge cake soaked in sweet milk, or Flan Nuestro, house-made custard with a delicious caramel sauce. You can also get an ice cream sundae, pecan pralines, or a brownie covered with a scoop of ice cream.

Hours: You can visit from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
