A Premium Maintenance Plan has to be purchased before the New Vehicle Limited Warranty is up, which lasts for three years or 36,000 miles for Ford models and four years or 50,000 miles for Lincoln vehicles.
As we mentioned, the Premium Maintenance Plan gives you a choice between different coverage lengths. These are offered in years and miles. You can purchase an extended maintenance coverage plan that lasts anywhere from two to eight years.
You'll also choose a mileage limit that depends on the years of coverage you choose. For instance, a two-year plan gives you the option of 25,000 or 30,000 miles. A three-year plan has eight options ranging from 30,000 to 150,000 miles.
