We traveled to Dallas from Houston for baseball, and experienced transmission issues along the way. Bekieveing the repairs wouldn’t be complete before our trip was over, I chose Planet Ford for its proximity to the airport. What I found was a dealership and service department that cared. This was Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with a service department. Raya was great! We left expecting an update by Thursday (we dropped the truck off on Tuesday). By the end of the day Tuesday, Raya called to provide an update. A partial diagnosis was complete and the repairs were covered under my extended warranty. She arranged for a loaner vehicle, and I was able to complete the paperwork online. By Thursday all of the diagnostics were complete and parts were ordered. As expected, the repairs could not be completed prior to the end of our trip so we flew home. Raya arranged my transportation to the airport when I returned the loaner. When the repairs were complete, I was able to pay for everything and pick the truck up after hours. Raya arranged my transportation from the airport to the dealership, and I was on the road in my truck within 30 minutes of landing. Raya knew the terms of the warranty, she was compassionate, and eager to help! She had a great personality and made me feel like family! I can’t rave about this interaction enough. I even spoke with a salesperson and we tried to work a deal, but just couldn’t agree to the terms. He wasn’t pushy and respected my decision. I have dealt with a range of dealerships, Ford, Jaguar, Tesla, Chevy and this was the best experience I’ve had. I would absolutely travel to Dallas simply to buy a vehicle from this dealership.

I towed my truck there after it was caught in a low water crossing that wasn’t marked or visible at 6:30 in the morning when it rained 4” in an hour and I was late for a flight. Treven Wiley in the body shop was the one I ended up talking to. The truck ended up being totaled because of the amount of water that can in but the experience with Treven was outstanding. Never had to reach out to him for a follow up in the process… he always beat me to it which was absolutely refreshing these days. He was kind, courteous, and I know he got involved more than what his job description says to find out answers for me. One of the few individuals who does the preverbal $5 job. Not the $1 or $3 job that I’ve come to expect by the younger generation of today. He went above and beyond to get to the bottom of it all, even “changing uniforms” at one point and went to his mechanics knowledge to move it along. Even when it was finally passed on to the service side of the operation he kept me informed even texting me from his personal cell, again before I had to reach out to him. He even stayed late and came out and helped me load it onto a trailer when I came to pick it up after it was totaled and no longer their problem. I can’t speak for the rest of the operation at Planet Ford. Originally when I had called to have it towed there, I spoke with the service mgr right about 7:15am, first thing in the am, when I suspect it’s the craziest…. He was my kinda guy… he was quick to listen and when I explained what I was going through, he said, “I can’t help you get it here… but once it’s here, I got this. You just let me know when it’s coming… here’s my cell”. Like a war veteran who didn’t BS around with empty promises, or maybe you can try this or that… He told me exactly what I needed to know in short order. Again, very refreshing. He was a Pro. I can’t speak for the rest of the operation, but what I encountered was world class service… above and beyond what I’ve received elsewhere. I honestly hope I’m never in a bind and need to talk to those guys again…. But if I was in a bind, THOSE are the guys I’d call.

Fantastic experience at Planet Ford. Tristan, Julio, Carlo, Jeremy, and Robert made the whole process easy from research to purchase. Tristan especially stood out. I’ve been taking my vehicles to PlanetFord for years, and I can’t say enough good things about their service department—especially Service Manager Ben Scott. If I could route every one of my cars through Ben, I absolutely would. He consistently does a fantastic job. Recently our car’s battery died unexpectedly, which is never convenient. Even though the shop was extremely busy, Ben was able to get me in the same day. By the end of the day, they had installed a new battery, performed an oil change, and completed a full tire rotation. I was back on the road with everything handled efficiently and professionally. The fact that Ben has been with PlanetFord for so long speaks volumes about the quality and stability of their team. It’s a great indication of the high level of work and customer care you can expect. Overall, I’ve been very happy with PlanetFord’s service department and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them—especially Ben—to anyone looking for reliable, responsive auto service. He has been very kind, professional, and helpful while my car has been worked on. I feel he’s gone out of his way to make me a happy customer and answer all the questions I have!
