27 Years As Voice of Park Cities: We Say Farewell to Grandma Doris

We celebrated a milestone in our history on Friday, May 24. Our receptionist of the past 27 years and the pillar of our Showroom - Grandma Doris Alexander - announced her retirement. Since there is very little that surprises our 87-year-young co-worker, we hosted lunch for the entire team and actually did manage to surprise her with a visit from Park Cities owners Randall and Sherry Reed and several members of the Reed Family who have known her since purchasing the store in August of 1992. Lots of smiles, hugs, tears, gifts, and words of kindness and wisdom flowed through the day. We estimate she alone has answered more than 1.1 million phone calls, give or take 5,000, literally serving as the voice of our business to our customers and co-workers. Truly a lifetime achievement and worthy of celebration!
