There's no shortage of exciting events in the North Texas city for you to say goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023. Grab your loved ones, throw on your best outfit, and get ready to dance and eat the night away with these special events that are sure to be a memorable way to leave one year and enter another in Lone Star fashion.
If you're looking to ring in the New Year in Dallas this year, there are several events and places to celebrate. Whether it's from the comfort of your Texas home and streaming the fireworks, or you're slipping into your best outfits and getting into your Ford to attend the best events in the Lone Star State, our team at Planet Ford Dallas put together a list of New Year's events.
Bring in 2023 at the Reunion Tower as it hosts its seventh annual New Year's event in Dallas, Texas. The Hyatt Regency Dallas provides dinner for the guests buffet-style with live-action stations. You can also grab a cocktail from DJ. Monduel's Bar. Don't forget to make plans for New Year's Day and attend the New Year's Day brunch from Hyatt Regency Dallas. The event ends with fireworks, and people watching the spectacular show can donate to Children's Health via the Reunion Tower NYE Foundation.
In 2020, the tower established this foundation, which exists to inform locals about the various nonprofits in North Texas, particularly during the days leading up to New Year's. The fireworks show begins at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022. If you're looking to skip the event but want to watch the fireworks, viewing isn't available on the Tower's lawn or in other areas the establishment has determined hot zones. Be sure to tune in to 98.7 KLUV for musical accompaniment while watching.

Location: 300 Reunion Blvd. East, Dallas.
Located at the South Side Ballroom, the Dallas New Year's Eve Ball begins at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, through 2 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1. This year, the event will have two different floors, which are the mainstream and the throwback floor. On the top floor, the throwback floor provides a more speakeasy, intimate atmosphere. You can relax in the lounge area or dance with your loved ones on the dance floor. The DJ will play hits from the '80s, '90s, and 2000s, plus today's hits added into the mix.
The mainstream floor is the bottom level, and here, you'll enjoy a large dance floor with the best mixes from the DJ. Coming out of the state-of-the-art sound system, you can dance to the best mix of hip-hop, top-40 radio hits, Latino mix, afro beats, and EDM. Some perks you can experience at this event include first-come, first-serve party favors, dinner packages, party games, coat checks, and photo backdrops to capture your memories.
For tickets, visit the event's website and reserve your tickets now, but the price ranges between $50 to $80. One ticket provides you access to both party floors. If you have general admission tickets, the doors open at 8 p.m., but if you're a premium ticket holder, you can get in at 6 p.m. Be sure to wear your best outfit to ring in 2023 because the ball has a formal dress code.

Drive up in your Ford to the Emerald City's Rock the 2023 NYE Party, inside the Hilton Anatole Hotel's Trinity Ballroom. This year, the party is offering its guests new layouts, packages, and VIP sections. You can expect to dance the night away to the Emerald City Band and DJ. There are four ticket tiers for you to choose from, which are the club ticket, VIP ticket, elevated VIP, and sit together. You receive free parking, party favors, and access to the DJ pre-party at 8 p.m. with a club ticket and all other tickets for $95 per person.
A VIP ticket for $175 includes reserved seating, two drink tickets, VIP lanyards, and meet and greets with the band. You can experience elevated reserved seating if you buy the $200 ticket. Similarly, for a party of 10, you can spend $1,650 for reserved table seating. On the event website, you'll find a few options for hotel packages that are included with event tickets.
The party begins at 8 p.m. with the DJ pre-party. From 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. is the meet and greet with the band, if you purchased that ticket tier level. Then, the first Emerald City set begins at 9:30 pm., and the party concludes around 1 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2023.

The tickets and location information about this year's Royal Masquerade Ball in Dallas, Texas, aren't available yet, but keep an eye on the website for when they do. Tickets sell out quickly each year, and you're not going to want to miss this magical event.
