Regarding protecting the environment and saving you money on fuel, there's nothing better than the 2023 Ford electric vehicles lineup. With a variety of models to choose from, there's surely something for every family and need. At Planet Ford Dallas, we can connect you with the new Ford electric vehicle that fits your budget and lifestyle. Read on to learn about the features of the new electric Fords.

Ford Maverick

Pickup trucks have long been synonymous with durability, power, and strength. As the big, bad brother to crossovers and SUVs, there's an expectation that the truck you choose should be able to carry a heavy load, take on all kinds of terrain, and last for years. The 2023 Maverick delivers on these expectations in spades.

While it's the most compact truck in the Ford lineup, the new Maverick isn't lightweight. This vehicle can tow up to 2,000 pounds and haul a payload of about 1,500 pounds. It comes standard with a 2.5-liter hybrid engine and an EcoBoost turbocharged engine that provides it with enough power to traverse even the toughest roads. The engine generates around 155 pound-feet of torque and 191 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission is also standard.

The new Ford Maverick is perfect if you're looking for a fuel-efficient and city-friendly truck. With its advanced interior technology and sleek exterior design, this truck will turn heads everywhere you go.

Mustang Mach-E

Designed for city driving and adventures across the open highway, the new Mustang Mach-E offers an innovative all-electric design and extreme efficiency. Providing near-silent performance, this five-seater SUV redefines the popular Ford Mustang with advanced tech capabilities and enjoyable features that make your trips memorable.

The 2023 Mustang Mach-E generates a 266-horsepower output, while the 224 miles (all-wheel drive) or 247 (rear-wheel drive) driving range allows you to easily travel from one place to another. Also, if you want more power, you can get the Mustang Mach-E GT for unparalleled thrills. This trim comes with an electric all-wheel drive and an impressive powertrain that can deliver up to 643 pound-feet of torque and 480 horsepower.

For all-electric power with innovative performance and the latest tech features, you won't find a better SUV than the new Mustang Mach-E. With advanced features and an efficient design, you can surely reach any destination in a futuristic style.

The Escape Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid

Efficient and pluggable, the new Ford Escape Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid (or PHEV), with its 2.5-liter hybrid engine, is ideal for those who like an economical and powerful engine. Its 153 pound-feet of torque and 162 horsepower (221 horsepower when the electric motor is added) give you the kick you need to have fun behind the wheel. The vehicle's 37-mile electric range, powered by a 14.4-kilowatt-hour battery, means you don't need to use any gas when you're making short trips every day, while its fuel tank allows you to make long trips during weekends.

The new Escape PHEV also gives you access to all the information you need at a glance. With the 8-inch center touch screen and SYNC 4, voice recognition, connected navigation, and your music are all at your fingertips. If you're a techie looking for more features, many of them are optional. For instance, you can expand the vehicle's center touch screen to 13.2 inches, add a 12.3-inch driver's display, include a wireless charging capability, or set up a Bang & Olufsen audio system featuring 10 speakers. With all of Escape's advanced tech features, you'll be more connected than ever.

Ford F-150 Lightning

It's no secret that the Ford F-150 Lightning has been the country's best-selling pickup truck for over 40 years. For the very first time in its storied history, the Lightning is now available as an all-electric vehicle, starting a new chapter for this legendary pickup truck. Following the slogan "Built Ford Tough", the F-150 Lightning proves that going all-electric doesn't mean making compromises on the dependability and work-ready capability that made it popular.

With 755 pound-feet of torque and 563 horsepower, the F-150 Lightning can tow around 10,000 pounds when equipped properly. It also offers a payload capacity of about 2,000 pounds. The standard all-wheel drive provides the vehicle with impressive off-road capabilities and allows it to overcome just about any unexpected road conditions.

The F-150 Lightning also comes with either a standard or extended-range battery pack, which can deliver up to an EPA-estimated 320 miles of range. The vehicle's military-grade aluminum-alloy bed and body and steel frame combine to increase strength, reduce weight, and help this zero-emissions truck to get the job done.

If you take a seat behind the wheel of the new Lightning, you'll find a connected interior that comes with the latest technological innovations from Ford, such as the SYNC 4A, which brings new levels of voice recognition, connectivity, and fewer cords to make life on the go easy. It also comes with Ford's Co-Pilot360 2.0, which is a suite of driver-assistive safety features.

Ford E-Transit

The 2023 Ford E-Transit is the fully electric version of the ever-popular Ford Transit van. Built for efficient work, the new Ford E-Transit delivers all the benefits of an electric vehicle along with the massive space and carrying capacity of a van.

The new E-Transit comes with a high-voltage lithium-ion battery, generating around 317 pound-feet of torque and 266 horsepower, paired with an electric motor (with a rear-wheel drivetrain) and a single-speed transmission. Regardless of the roof height configuration you choose, the new Ford E-Transit offers a range of more than 100 miles — this includes a demonstrated range of about 126 miles with the low-roof van. In addition, the vehicle can power your work site — with about 2.4 kilowatts of exportable power — as it comes with Pro Power Onboard that offers mobile generator capabilities.
