DEARBORN, Mich., Dec. 11, 2017 – Ford Motor Company listed among the 2018 Best Places to Work for LGBT equality in the U.S. and Mexico. The Human Rights Campaign awarded Ford a 100 percent score in both the 2018 Corporate Equality Index and the first-ever HRC Equidad MX Report.
The HRC issues reports on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT equality in the workplace. Ford was the first automaker to earn a perfect score on the Corporate Equality Index and it has continued to earn 100 percent in every report since 2004.
Now, Ford is the first and only automaker among 32 companies recognized in the 2018 HRC Equidad MX Report. The inaugural report assessed businesses in Mexico based on three core pillars:
