The year 2021 is quickly coming to an end and it's time to start making plans for where to ring in the new year. Whether you're looking for a formal date night, informal dancing with club music, or a casual bar crawl with your friends, there are many events in the Dallas, Texas, area for you to choose from. We've even got a solution for childcare for those parents who want to have a fun night out while their kids are safely entertained. Here's a list of some of the best New Year's Eve events around Dallas.

The 11th annual New Year's Eve celebration Champagne Life: Royalty Masquerade & Casino hosted by 5 Made Men is one of the hottest NYE parties in Dallas. This extravaganza features a four-hour premium open bar, casino games, three DJs, a live band, dinner, and multiple party rooms. Wear your holiday finery to this black-tie event, where you can walk down the elegant black carpet to pose for some shots for the paparazzi. Attendees also receive party favors and a masquerade mask. The party is broadcast live on local station 97.9 The Beat.
Guests aged 21 and older are invited to the Royalty Masquerade & Casino NYE party. Tickets start at $99.99 and usually sell out in advance. The fun begins on Friday, Dec. 31 at 9 p.m. and ends at 2 a.m. on Saturday morning. The setting is the amazing Aloft Dallas Love Field at 2333 West Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.
Start celebrating the new year early with this two-day dance party and music festival. Lights All Night 2021 attracts thousands of attendees and features over 60 DJs, five separate band stages, and both indoor and outdoor dance areas. Vendor booths will have official event merchandise available including shirts, hoodies, posters, and other memorabilia. A variety of craft vendors will be set up on the grounds too, and you'll find many food and beverage stands throughout the event. Some of the many featured bands include Sumthin Sumthin, Joyride, Subtronics, and DJ Snake.
Tickets for Lights All Night 2021 start at $99.95 for one night or $199.95 for both nights. The festival is on Thursday, Dec. 30, and Friday, Dec. 31, and is held at Dallas Market Hall, 2200 Stemmons Freeway, in Dallas.
Attend the 12th annual Dallas NYE Ball and participate in one of the largest New Year's Eve parties in town. The event features the top Dallas DJs playing your favorite music, photo opportunities with props and a backdrop, party favors, and multiple bars. Each of the three floors of the ball celebration features different styles of music and attractions. A casino on site adds to the evening's entertainment.
Tickets range from $15 to $80 for the Dallas NYE Ball. The party starts on Friday, Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. and goes on until 2 a.m. Saturday morning. The location for this celebration is the Crowne Plaza Hotel Downtown Dallas at 1015 Elm St.
Frisco Nightlife is hosting a luxurious Dallas New Year's Eve Party called Gatsby's House NYE 2022 at the Omni Frisco Hotel. Wear your best roaring '20s zoot suit, flapper dress, or semi-formal cocktail attire to this elegant New Year's celebration. The event features a five-hour open bar, hors d'oeuvres, multiple dance floors and DJs, and prizes. Try your luck at the casino games including craps, roulette, and blackjack, then cheer in the new year with a champagne toast at the sound of midnight.
Prices range from $89 to $669 to attend Gatsby's House NYE 2022. Doors open Friday, December 21 at 9 p.m. and the fun lasts until Saturday, January 1, 2 a.m. Omni Frisco Hotel is located at 11 Cowboys Way in Frisco.
Social Scene presents this fun and friendly way to welcome 2022 with a Dallas NYE Bar Crawl. Admission pays the cover charge at the many venues on the crawl and features a variety of dance parties, DJs, and live bands. Attendees receive New Year's party favors, participate in a scavenger hunt, get food and drink specials at all venues, and share a champagne toast at the stroke of midnight.
Tickets start at $20 per person. You can also purchase a shuttle ticket for $20 which offers transportation between all venues, with shuttles every 20 minutes. This is a great way to have a safe, enjoyable celebration out with your friends this holiday.
Cheer in 2022 from the Altitude W Dallas Rooftop, 33 floors above the city at the W Victory Hotel. The event includes four hours of open bar drinks, music, and party favors as you welcome 2022 with a beautiful view of Dallas spread out below you.
Prices start at $169 for the evening's festivities and doors open Friday, Dec. 31, at 9 p.m. The W Dallas Rooftop Altitude is found at 2440 Victory Park Lane in Dallas.
Parents of children aged 3 years and older can enjoy the New Year's celebrations thanks to Life Spring Church. The church offers childcare over New Year's evening from 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31 to 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022. The event features movies, games, a playground, and basketball games to keep the kids entertained while their parents enjoy an evening together. Children bring a sleeping bag and pillow and parents can pick them up by 8 a.m. on Saturday.
