The Ford Escape offers a choice of two engines: a 181-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo-three and a 250-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo-four. This compact SUV has a slightly longer body than the Ford Escape, which translates into a larger cargo area. In addition, the Ford Edge is significantly more powerful than the Ford Escape.
